Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Levels (AS Levels) and Cambridge International Advanced Levels (A Levels) are subject-based qualifications that we offer at Nuvision High school in the final two years of high school.
AS Level is typically a one-year programme of study, while A Level takes two years with assessment at the end of each programme.
AS & A Levels is aimed at students 16 years and above before university study as a preparation for university
The AS & A level curriculum sets a global standard for education, with programmes that stretch, challenge and inspire our students helping them gain skills for success at university and in their future careers.
Since inception our students have performed tremendously well and used Cambridge International AS & A Levels to gain places at leading universities worldwide. A larger percentage of our students score high grades and a significant number are ranked top in the world. One of our students, for example, emerged top in the World award in Cambridge A-level Geography.
NuVision High School graduates have been accepted to top schools including the University of Cornell in New York, University of Nebraska, University of British Columbia in Canada, Tufts University in Boston USA, NUR, African Leadership University in Rwanda, Penn State University, University of West Virginia, University of Toronto, MUK in Uganda, Sheffield University in the UK and Northwestern University in Illinois USA.
At NuVision learners have the freedom to select subjects that are right for them – they either follow a broad course of study, or specialize in a particular area. Our school currently offers AS/A Level courses in the following subjects.
